Community Connexions Roundtable 2 will be held on the 19 June, 9.00 am - 3.00 pm, at:

The Muath Trust
Stratford Road
The Bordesley Centre
Birmingham
B11 1AR

Community Connexions in its journey has been an advocate for the communities, hence we understand the frustrations, challenges and exhaustion among the patients and the public regarding the healthcare access and their general well-being. The purpose of this Roundtable is to action some of the top health priorities that came out from our community engagement sessions:

  1. Mental Health(adult & young people)
  2. Wider determinants of health
  3. Children & young people

The other burning issues were around women health(peri natal and maternity services) and the one that overarches all of the themes is GP access.

Working groups

Following up from this Roundtable we will have 3 working groups that would lead on individual themes. The organisations or individual who are interested in one or more than one theme can be part of these working groups. We understand if you do not have the capacity to be part of any working group and you just would want to attend the event out of interest. Although we would request everyone to come prepared with some thoughts, ideas, plans or projects from yourself or your organisation so that we can have some effective discussions and plan of action.

Please save the dates for the 3 working groups that you might wish to be part of, after the Roundtable event:

  • 11 July 2024: Working group 1 (Mental Health)
  • 15 July 2024: Working group 2 (Children and Young people)
  • 17 July 2024: Working group 3 (Wider determinants of Health)

Our patients and their carers and families are the reason we're here, so we want to hear your views about the Trust and our services.
